Join the Tuckerton Seaport's Turn of the Century on Saturday May 12, 2018 for their unveiling of the new exhibit "Turn of the Century Tuckerton". This hands-on exhibit allows you as the visitor to experience life in Tuckerton at the turn of the 20th century as a real life resident who can be found in our census. Grab a postcard to find out just what it was like to be a 20th century blacksmith, baymen, glass blower, and much more. The old town of Tuckerton, or "Clamtown" as they called it then, was full of unique characters who were essential to making the area a vital shipping port and home to a vibrant folklife. In the exhibit, you will experience what their life was like in this old shore town all those years ago. Turn of the Century Tuckerton will be on display in our Lighthouse throughout 2018. Located at 120 West Main Street in Tuckerton, New Jersey. For more information call 609-296-8868
