Celebrate Independence Day around the Greater Long Beach Island area this 4th of July. Fireworks, parades and more.
Barnegat Township will celebrate Independence Day with a free concert and fireworks at the Municipal Dock on Saturday, June 30, 2018. The concert will begin around 7:00 p.m followed by fireworks at dusk. The dock is located on Bayshore Drive in Barnegat. Rain date is July 1.
Barnegat Light:
Barnegat Light's Independence day parade will kick off Saturday July 7, starting at 6:30 pm, at West 11th street in Barnegat light- And a live performance by "Liberty Band" following the parade, between 9th and 10th street, near the bay.
Beach Haven:
Beach Haven will celebrate Independence Day on Wednesday, July 4, with the only Fireworks display on Long Beach Island! Every year, area businesses and individuals contribute to The Red, White & Blue Committee, a non-profit group of volunteers who organize and fund the Island's Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza, happening at dusk on the Bay at 9th & Bay Avenue!
Surf City
The fun begins at 6PM in Surf City on Wednesday July 4. There will be a bayside parade starting at North 5th Street in Surf City. All are welcome to participate.
Tuckerton:
The Pinelands 4th of July Committee presents Fireworks and Family Fun at the Tuckerton Seaport on Wednesday, July 4 with a parade, starting at 10:00am down Main Street. From 4:30pm to 9:30pm you can enjoy food vendors and Family Fun at the Tuckerton Seaport with live music, jugglers and complimentary seaport admission all day. Fireworks will start at dusk, around 9:00pm, and are sponsored by the Pinelands 4th of July Committee.
Waretown:
In Waretown, Independence Day Celebration takes place on June 30 at Waretown Lake & Recreation Park, 182 Wells Mills Rd. at 10 a.m. There will be a flag salute by Barnegat American Legion Post 232, National Anthem by Jo-Ann Scotto, and the honoring of civil war veterans that are buried in the Olde Cemetery.
